Role Overview:

Asset Management Private Ltd is looking to appoint a qualified and experienced professional as Principal Officer under the SEBI (Portfolio Managers) Regulations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the Portfolio Management Services (PMS) function, ensuring full compliance with SEBI guidelines, and managing the end-to-end investment process.

Key Responsibilities:

- Act as the Principal Officer under SEBI (Portfolio Managers) Regulations.

- Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain liaison with SEBI and other regulators.

- Oversee portfolio strategy, execution, and performance monitoring.

- Supervise investment decisions and guide the portfolio management team.

- Collaborate with compliance, legal, operations, and client servicing functions.

- Represent the firm in client discussions and internal investment committees.

- Develop and execute the fund's investment strategy in alignment with organizational goals.

- Monitor market trends to identify investment opportunities and risks.

- Oversee the performance of real estate assets to maximize returns and mitigate risks.

Qualifications:

- Professional qualification in finance, law, accountancy, or business management from a recognized university/institution.

- Post Graduate Program in Securities Market (Portfolio Management) from NISM (minimum 1-year duration).

- CFA Charter from the CFA Institute.

Experience:

- Minimum 5 years in securities market activities (portfolio manager, stock broker, investment advisor, research analyst, or fund manager).

- At least 2 years in portfolio management, investment advisory, or related fund management areas.

Mandatory Certification:

- NISM Series-XXI-B: Portfolio Manager Certification.

Skills:

- Strong understanding of capital markets and SEBI regulations.

- Excellent communication and leadership skills.

- Strategic thinking with a compliance-first approach.
