Job Summary: Principal Officer Financial Services (Ahmedabad / GIFT City)

About the Role:

The Principal Officer will lead regulatory compliance, risk management, and governance for financial operations under IFSCA (International Financial Services Centres Authority). This role involves acting as the Nodal Officer for all regulatory interactions while ensuring full adherence to laws governing AIFs, PMS, and cross-border investment services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as the designated Principal Officer for GIFT City operations.

- Ensure compliance with IFSCA, SEBI, RBI, and FEMA frameworks.

- Oversee AML/KYC, PMLA obligations, and transaction reporting.

- Maintain risk management frameworks and coordinate internal/external audits.

- Supervise day-to-day operationsclient onboarding, fund flows, and reporting.

- Drive compliance-led technology and automation in reporting systems.

- Liaise with regulators and legal teams for licensing, fund structuring, and AIF/PMS products.

- Support leadership in strategic expansion and policy implementation.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education: CA / MBA / CS / LLB or equivalent professional degree.

Experience: 5-7 years in financial services, with at least 35 years in compliance, operations, or regulatory roles.

Preferred: Exposure to GIFT City operations, AIF/PMS regulations, or offshore structures.

Certifications: AML/CFT or NISM compliance credentials (as per IFSCA norms).
