Principal Officer - Compliance/Risk Management - Financial Services

Role: Principal Officer

About the Role:

The position involves leading regulatory compliance, risk management, and operational governance for financial services operations under the IFSCA (International Financial Services Centres Authority) framework, particularly in GIFT City. The role requires close interaction with regulators and ensures strict adherence to financial and investment compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee compliance with IFSCA, SEBI, and RBI regulations.

- Manage AML/KYC, PMLA obligations and act as Nodal Officer for compliance reporting.

- Develop and implement risk and governance frameworks.

- Supervise day-to-day operations including client onboarding and fund flow management.

- Coordinate with regulators, auditors, and legal advisors for filings, licensing, and structuring.

- Support business strategy and market expansion under the GIFT City framework.

Qualifications & Experience:

- CA / MBA / CS / LLB or equivalent professional qualification.

- 5-7 years of experience in financial services; minimum 3-5 years in compliance, operations, or regulatory roles.

- Preferred exposure to AIF/PMS, GIFT City, and offshore financial structures.

- Strong understanding of IFSCA, SEBI, FEMA norms with AML/CFT certifications preferred.
