Principal Impact Consulting Professional - NGO

Description:

- We are looking for a senior leader to drive strategy, consulting engagements, and client partnerships within the CSR and social impact ecosystem. This role will work closely with large corporates and foundations to design and deliver high-impact grant-making and social investment programs. The position is highly entrepreneurial and requires a combination of consulting rigor, sector expertise, and leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:

- Build and nurture relationships with corporate leaders, CSR heads, and philanthropic foundations

- Drive new client acquisition and expand existing partnerships

Solution Design:

- Work with grantmakers to identify key challenges in their CSR and philanthropy programs

- Design strategic solutions across areas such as partner identification, program design, monitoring & evaluation, and impact reporting

Engagement Delivery:

- Lead consulting engagements including strategy formulation, program management, and operational support

- Ensure high-quality delivery and measurable impact across projects

People Leadership:

- Build and mentor high-performing teams

- Foster a culture aligned with purpose, collaboration, and execution excellence

Thought Leadership:

- Contribute to research, sector reports, convenings, and knowledge platforms

- Represent the organization in industry forums and conversations within the CSR ecosystem

Strategic Leadership:

- Contribute to organizational growth strategy and development of new offerings in the social impact consulting space

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- 12-15 years of professional experience with a strong academic and professional track record

- Experience in strategy consulting, CSR leadership, or social impact consulting

- Proven track record of owning revenue growth, margins, and team leadership

- Strong understanding of the CSR ecosystem and corporate philanthropy landscape

- Experience engaging with senior leaders in large corporations, foundations, or development sector institutions

- Domain expertise in education, health, livelihoods, skilling, or sustainability preferred

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-impact environment with frequent travel
