Description:
The Principal Forensic, Risk & Integrity Services will be responsible for leading the forensic and investigative consulting practice across Pan India, driving both strategic growth and operational excellence.
This is a P&L-owning leadership role, accountable for business development, client delivery, team management, and profitability.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in fraud investigation, corporate intelligence, integrity due diligence, brand protection, and compliance risk management, coupled with a strong entrepreneurial mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Practice Leadership & P&L Ownership
- Lead and manage the Forensic, Risk & Integrity Services vertical as an independent business unit within Acquisory.
- Take full ownership of the profit and loss (P&L) for the practice including revenue generation, cost management, and profitability targets.
- Define and execute strategic business plans for growth across Pan India, aligning with firm-wide objectives.
- Identify emerging market opportunities and drive new service line development in forensic technology, risk analytics, and compliance consulting.
2. Business Development & Client Advisory
- Drive business growth through strategic client acquisition, account expansion, and relationship management.
- Develop proposals, pitch presentations, and RFP responses for complex forensic and risk management engagements.
- Advise CXOs, Risk & Compliance Leaders, and Legal Heads on ethical governance, fraud risk mitigation, and regulatory best practices.
- Build Acquisorys brand presence through thought leadership, industry participation, and client engagement initiatives.
3. Engagement Delivery & Quality Oversight
- Oversee and ensure the delivery of high-quality, insight-driven forensic and risk assignments, including:
- Fraud investigations and dispute resolution
- Integrity due diligence and background checks (Pre & Post PE Investments)
- Brand protection and anti-counterfeiting programs
- Regulatory compliance, Anti-bribery & Anti-corruption reviews
- Competition mapping and fair market value assessments
- Review reports, ensure adherence to professional and legal standards, and maintain client confidentiality.
4. Team Development & Leadership
- Build, lead, and mentor a multi-disciplinary team of forensic, risk, and compliance professionals across India.
- Oversee staffing, performance management, and competency development.
- Foster a culture of integrity, innovation, and accountability aligned with Acquisorys values.
5. Regulatory & Stakeholder Liaison
- Liaise with law enforcement agencies, regulators, and external investigation partners on assignments.
- Maintain working relationships with Customs, DGOV, BMC, MPCB, Police Departments, and other regulatory bodies for brand protection and compliance matters.
- Stay ahead of regulatory developments impacting forensic and compliance domains.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Qualifications:
- CA are preferred
- MBA (Operations) / M.Com from a reputed institution.
- CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) preferred or currently pursuing.
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Forensic Investigations, Risk Consulting, and Integrity Due Diligence, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated success in owning and managing P&L, including revenue growth and cost optimization.
- Proven experience in consulting-led engagements across industries and geographies within India.
- Deep understanding of compliance frameworks, fraud risk management, and investigative methodologies.
Skills:
- Strong business acumen with a focus on profitability and growth.
- Excellent stakeholder management and client advisory capabilities.
- Advanced analytical, investigative, and report-writing skills.
- Proficiency in forensic tools and data analytics platforms (e.g., Intella, EnCase, etc.).
