
Role Overview:
The Principal Director - Upstream Oil & Gas serves as a strategic architect and senior advisor, steering complex exploration and production initiatives for global energy clients. In this capacity, you will lead cross-functional teams of consultants and technical experts to solve high-stakes challenges across the upstream value chain, ranging from asset optimization and reservoir management to digital transformation and decarbonization strategies.
You will act as the primary interface for C-suite stakeholders, translating intricate operational data into actionable business roadmaps that drive profitability, operational excellence, and long-term sustainability. By bridging the gap between technical engineering requirements and executive-level commercial objectives, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of energy portfolios in an evolving market landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
- Orchestrate large-scale upstream transformation programs to enhance production efficiency and reduce lifting costs for major integrated energy companies.
- Advise executive leadership on capital allocation and portfolio rationalization to maximize returns on exploration and production assets.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams through complex project lifecycles, ensuring that technical insights are seamlessly integrated into broader commercial strategies.
- Cultivate and maintain deep-rooted relationships with key industry stakeholders to identify emerging business opportunities and expand the firms footprint in the energy sector.
- Drive the adoption of advanced analytics and digital technologies to optimize field operations and improve safety and environmental compliance across global assets.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in upstream operations, including reservoir management, drilling, and production optimization, coupled with a strong grasp of the global energy market.
- Proven ability to influence senior-level decision-makers through data-driven storytelling and high-impact executive presentations.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with a track record of mentoring high-performing teams and fostering a culture of intellectual rigor and collaborative problem-solving.

- A Masters degree in Engineering, Geology, or Business Administration from a premier institute, reflecting a strong academic foundation.
