Principal Data Architect - Consulting Firm

A leading Consulting Company - a MNC client of our with operations across Europe, North America, Middle East and Africa is looking for a Principal Data Architect. This role will be strategic in nature with subject matter expertise require in the field of Data Architecting, GCP and Data Engineering.

The leader will drive and be responsible for evaluation, implementation, and deployment of emerging data technologies, trends and process in the Data Engineering space.

The role will partner with business analysts and architects teams to develop technical architectures for strategic projects and initiatives.

Focus will be on design, strategic development and implementation of sustainable data pipelines & data quality frameworks.

The Principal will participate as an active member of assigned product team including supporting existing and future solutions.

- Mentor and guide other data architects and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within the data team.

Required Skills/Experience

- 18-22 years total work experience

- Experience with modern Cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud

- Experience with Data Engineering toolsets and technologies including SQL, Python, BigQuery, Composer, DataFlow, Dbt (or similar).

- Experience in ETL, data warehousing, data quality, data observability, structured and unstructured data systems
