Principal Consultant - Presales/Solution Design - Capital Markets

Job Title: Principal Consultant Capital Markets (Pre-Sales / Solution Design)

Location: Bangalore or Gurgaon/NCR

Experience: 12+ years

Work Shift: Day (Flexible considering Solution Design role)

About the Role

The ideal candidate will be a domain expert (SME) capable of leading solution pursuits, defining strategies, and delivering impactful client presentations.

Key Responsibilities

- Participate in scope definition, due diligence workshops, and oral presentations with prospective clients.

- Collaborate with Sales, Account, and Delivery teams to craft winning solutions.

- Prepare and present solution walkthroughs, proof-of-concepts, and proposal defenses.

- Develop go-to-market strategies: Work with Sales teams across geographies to identify opportunities and propose winning solutions.

- Create financial services collaterals, whitepapers, and point-of-view documents.

- Mentor and train junior team members to enhance capabilities.

- Open to domestic and international travel at short notice.

Key Qualifications & Experience

MBA from reputed B-Schools is desirable.

Experience: 12+ years in Capital Markets Operations (Asset Management, Wealth Management, Broker-Dealer, Custody, or Private Equity) with a minimum of 2 years in Pre-Sales or Solution Design.

Proven experience as a domain expert or SME in Capital Markets.

Domain & Technical Skills

Strong understanding of security and trade life cycles, including:

- Client Onboarding & KYC

- Data Management (Account/Security setup & maintenance)

- Trade Management (Front / Middle / Back Office)

- Corporate Actions

- Reconciliation

- Reporting (Shareholder / Financial / Regulatory)

- Payments

Familiarity with platforms and technologies used in Capital Markets.

Strong knowledge of Digital Transformation tools: Workflow, RPA, Data, IDP, Gen AI.

Awareness of industry trends in the Capital Markets space.

Other Skills

Strong relationship-building, analytical, and presentation skills.

Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).

Passport with valid US visa preferred.
