
Principal Consultant - Supply Chain Planning
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support implementation, configuration, and optimization of Blue Yonder Enterprise Supply Planning (ESP) solutions using SPARQ Solver
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand supply chain planning requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
- Design and implement supply chain planning models focused on demand planning, supply planning, inventory optimization, and forecasting
- Develop and utilize AI/ML algorithms for statistical forecasting and supply chain optimization
- Analyze complex business problems and provide effective supply chain solutions aligned with business objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business users, IT teams, and leadership stakeholders
- Support solution integration with ERP and supply chain platforms such as SAP, Oracle, and other enterprise systems
Perform data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting using SQL queries and database structures
Prepare and deliver presentations, workshops, and solution demonstrations to business users and management teams
- Ensure successful issue resolution and provide post-implementation support where required
- Participate in solution architecture discussions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Travel extensively to customer locations based on project requirements
Required Skills & Expertise:
- 8-12 years of hands-on experience as a Supply Chain Consultant or Blue Yonder Consultant
Strong expertise in:
Blue Yonder Enterprise Supply Planning (ESP)
- SPARQ Solver
- SQL Querying
- Strong understanding of Supply Chain Management concepts including:
- Demand Planning
- Supply Planning
- Inventory Optimization
- Tactical Supply Chain Planning
- Experience working with statistical forecasting techniques and AI/ML models
- Hands-on experience with Python and R packages for analytics and forecasting
- Good understanding of database structures, technical platforms, and enterprise application environments
- Experience implementing or supporting supply chain planning solutions for customers
- Knowledge of ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or similar enterprise systems
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong presentation and consulting capabilities
Preferred Qualifications :
- Advanced degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Operations Research, or related discipline
- APICS certification will be an added advantage
Prior experience in:
- Management Consulting organizations
- Supply Chain Centers of Excellence (CoE)
- Large-scale transformation projects
- Experience working directly with Blue Yonder customers or implementation partners preferred
Work Model :
- PAN India opportunity with flexibility to work remotely
- Candidates should be available to work from the Bangalore office whenever required by the team
- Willingness to travel extensively (up to 90%) is mandatory
