Principal Analyst/Associate Director - Fundamental Equities - IT Software

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct fundamental equity research on companies within the US Software sector.

- Cover Enterprise Software, Vertical Software, and/or Payments companies.

- Build and maintain detailed financial models and valuation frameworks.

- Analyze company financial statements, earnings releases, industry trends, and competitive dynamics.

- Develop investment theses and prepare investment memos.

- Benchmark companies against peers across financial and operating metrics.

- Engage with company management teams, sell-side analysts, industry experts, and other market participants to strengthen investment insights.

- Collaborate closely with front office teams to support idea generation and investment decision-making.

Required Qualifications:

- MBA, CA, or CFA.

- 8+ years of experience in Equity Research or Investment Research.

- Mandatory experience covering the US Software sector.

- Strong understanding of Enterprise Software, Vertical Software, and/or Payments business models.

- Advanced financial modeling and company valuation skills.

- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
