Principal - Accounting

About the Role

We are looking for a senior finance leader to take ownership of accounting operations at a strategic level. This role requires strong expertise in financial management, along with hands-on involvement in core accounting functions due to evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end accounting operations including journal entries and financial closing

- Lead cash forecasting, financial planning, and reporting activities

- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing of books

- Maintain compliance with accounting standards and internal controls

- Support financial audits and regulatory requirements

- Work closely with cross-functional teams for financial decision-making

- Take ownership of multiple accounting functions in a dynamic environment

- Drive process improvements and operational efficiency within finance

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

- 12+ years of experience in accounting and finance roles

- Strong expertise in financial reporting, accounting operations, and compliance

- Hands-on experience in closing books, journal entries, and forecasting

- Strong understanding of accounting standards and financial controls

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
