We're looking for a meticulous and experienced Domain Manager to join our team in Bangalore. What You'll Do:
- As a Domain Manager, you'll be the linchpin for our domain infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and compliance for a significant portfolio of client-owned domains.
- Domain Lifecycle Management: Take full ownership of domain registrations for hosting websites, including renewals, crucial updates to domain zone files, and comprehensive domain reporting.
- Process & Documentation: Develop and establish clear, efficient processes for Domain Acquisition, Domain Management, and Annual Recertification.
- You'll ensure these processes are well-documented and scalable.
- Inventory Management: Utilize your expertise with CSC domain management tools to meticulously maintain and update our vast domain name inventory.
- You'll establish and maintain an inventory of 4000+ client-owned domains, consolidating scattered inputs and documenting business and technical owners, linked applications, and current status.
- Collaboration & Acquisition: Work closely with client Marketing, Legal, IT Architecture, and CSC (our Domain vendor) to facilitate the acquisition of new domains.
- Industry & Security Expertise: Maintain a strong understanding of domain industry standards, including new top-level domains (TLDs) and emerging security protocols.
- Technical Operations: Manage crucial technical aspects such as DNS settings, domain transfers, SSL certificate management, and understanding domain propagation times.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure strict compliance with ICANN and CZDS requirements as part of all domain names management and compliance activities.
What Makes You a Good Fit:
- You have 5-8 years of relevant experience in domain management.
- You possess strong experience with CSC domain management tools.
- You have a deep understanding of DNS settings, domain transfers, SSL certificates, and domain propagation.
- You're familiar with ICANN and CZDS compliance.
- You have excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage a large inventory of domains and complex processes.
- You're a strong communicator, capable of collaborating effectively with various internal and external stakeholders
