Role Summary:
The Pricing Manager is responsible for the end-to-end commercial construction of outsourcing deals.
You will translate operational requirements into competitive financial bids, ensuring the company wins business while hitting target margins.
Core Responsibilities:
- Financial Solutioning: Build robust pricing models for RFPs (Request for Proposals) across different geographies (Offshore, Onshore, and Nearshore).
- Pricing Structures: Develop various commercial frameworks, including:
- Input-based: (Price per FTE/Hour).
- Output-based: (Price per Transaction/Unit).
- Outcome-based: (Success fees, % of collections, or gain-share).
- Cost Management: Work with HR and IT to factor in recruitment costs, seat costs, training cycles, and technology stacks.
- Risk Assessment: Identify financial risks such as currency fluctuations (FX), inflation/COLA, and penalty clauses (Service Level Agreement credits).
- Internal Stakeholder Management: Present "Deal Reviews" to the CFO and CEO to get sign-off on aggressive pricing or low-margin strategic deals.
- Competitive Intelligence: Benchmark BPO market rates to ensure the company isn't "leaving money on the table" or being priced out of the market.
Industry-Specific Requirements:
- Advanced Excel: This is the primary tool.
You must be able to build multi-tab, inter-linked models that flow from "Assumptions" to a "Client-facing Quote.
- Operational Knowledge: Understanding BPO-specific math (e., how an increase in Shrinkage or Attrition impacts the cost per productive hour).
- Commercial Writing: Ability to write the "Commercial Response" section of a bid, explaining why the pricing structure benefits the client.
