Pricing Actuary - General Insurance - 3+ years

Summary:

We are hiring for a Pricing Actuary General Insurance role with a leading global analytics and consulting organisation. The role offers an opportunity to work on complex P&C / General Insurance pricing projects, including pricing model development, portfolio analysis, rate adequacy and actuarial modelling.

A leading global analytics and consulting organisation with a strong actuarial practice, partnering with global General Insurance and P&C insurers on advanced pricing, risk and analytics solutions.

Responsibilities:

- Develop, enhance and validate General Insurance / P&C pricing models for different insurance portfolios.

- Perform actuarial pricing analysis, including exposure analysis, loss analysis, portfolio monitoring and rate adequacy assessments.

- Work on GLM-based pricing models, predictive modelling and other statistical pricing techniques.

- Support long-tail and short-tail pricing assignments, including LDFs, casualty pricing, property pricing and rate indication.

- Analyse historical claims and exposure data to identify trends and provide actionable actuarial insights.

- Collaborate with global actuarial and insurance stakeholders on pricing methodology, model development and business recommendations.

Requirements:

- 3-8 years of experience in Actuarial / General Insurance, with relevant exposure to Pricing.

- Strong understanding of P&C / Non-Life General Insurance and actuarial pricing concepts.

- Hands-on experience in General Insurance Pricing / Actuarial Pricing is strongly preferred.

- Experience with GLM-based pricing models / predictive modelling will be highly preferred.

- Exposure to long-tail pricing such as Loss Development Factors (LDFs), casualty pricing, loss and exposure analysis OR short-tail pricing such as property pricing, portfolio monitoring and rate adequacy.

- Working knowledge of actuarial/statistical tools such as R, Python, SAS, Emblem, RADAR, Earnix or similar platforms will be an advantage.

- Candidates pursuing or having completed Actuarial examinations through IAI / IFoA will be preferred.
