Job Summary:

- We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in the designated region.

- The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing effective sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and driving revenue growth.

- This role demands strong sales acumen, excellent communication skills, and deep industry knowledge, preferably in lab testing instruments or related technical sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, implement, and continuously refine regional sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets and business objectives.

- Identify new business opportunities, emerging markets, and potential clients to expand the customer base.

- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients by understanding their needs, providing excellent service, and offering tailored solutions.

- Conduct impactful technical and commercial presentations and product demonstrations to educate clients on product capabilities and benefits.

- Partner with the marketing team to develop and execute lead generation campaigns, promotional activities, and product launches to increase market penetration.

- Manage the entire sales cycle - from lead generation and qualification to negotiation and deal closure - ensuring efficient conversion of prospects.

- Maintain detailed and accurate sales records, customer interactions, pipeline status, and forecasts using CRM tools to facilitate data-driven decision making.

- Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to adjust sales strategies accordingly.

- Provide guidance and support to junior sales staff, where applicable, fostering a collaborative and high-performance sales culture.

- Collect and relay customer feedback to internal teams for continuous product and service improvements.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Experience: 5 -7 years of proven sales experience, preferably selling lab testing instruments, scientific equipment, or related technical products.

- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of laboratory equipment, analytical instruments, or related industries is highly desirable.

- Sales Expertise: Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles, from prospecting to closing deals, and achieve sales targets consistently.

- Technical Aptitude: Ability to understand technical product details and translate them into customer value propositions.

- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deliver persuasive presentations and build rapport with diverse stakeholders.

- Negotiation Skills: Skilled in handling contract negotiations and closing deals while ensuring customer satisfaction.

- CRM Proficiency: Experience working with CRM software (e.g, Salesforce, Zoho, Microsoft Dynamics) to manage sales activities and pipeline.

- Travel: Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory as required
