Job Title: AGM / DGM Sales

About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced AGM / DGM Sales professional to lead and drive sales initiatives across assigned projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of achieving revenue targets, building strong client relationships, and leading high-performing sales teams. This role requires strategic thinking, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate across functions to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales targets and ensure revenue achievement for assigned projects and territories.
- Develop, implement, and continuously refine sales strategies to maximize market share and business growth.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including channel partners and prospective clients.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with High Net Worth Individuals (HNIs), institutional buyers, and corporate clients.
- Ensure an excellent customer experience throughout the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closure.
- Handle client escalations promptly and provide effective resolutions to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed individual and group sales targets.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the sales teams product knowledge and selling skills.
- Monitor team performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide actionable guidance.
- Track competitor activities, market trends, and pricing strategies to inform sales and marketing plans.
- Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, Management Information System (MIS) reports, and business updates to senior management.
- Recommend product positioning and pricing strategies based on comprehensive market insights and analysis.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, CRM, legal, and operations teams to ensure a seamless and positive customer journey.
- Support marketing campaigns, events, and promotional activities aimed at lead generation and brand building.
- Undertake any additional roles and responsibilities as assigned by the reporting manager.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- 12-15 years of progressive experience in sales, preferably in a leadership role.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed ambitious sales targets.
- Strong experience in business development, client relationship management, and sales team leadership.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to handle escalations diplomatically and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Experience in conducting training and mentoring sales teams.
- Familiarity with market research, competitor analysis, and pricing strategy development.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and departments.
- Proficiency in sales forecasting and preparing detailed reports for management.
