The Role:

- The Senior Market Research Analyst serves as a senior individual contributor within Presidio's market intelligence function, delivering advanced research and strategic insights that shape portfolio strategy and partner alignment.


- This role supports the development of Presidio's product management functionality where products are services, requiring deep analytical expertise to tackle complex market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and emerging technology trends.


- The Senior Analyst acts as a subject matter expert on specific market segments while mentoring junior team members and leading high-priority research initiatives. This position is part of Presidio's research maturity initiative focused on elevating intelligence capabilities.

Major Responsibilities:

- Lead complex research projects requiring advanced analytical methodologies and cross-functional data synthesis.

- Serve as subject matter expert on assigned market segments, technology domains, or competitive landscapes.

- Produce sophisticated executive briefings that translate complex market dynamics into strategic recommendations.

- Mentor junior analysts on research methodologies, analytical frameworks, and executive communication.

- Partner with Market Research Lead to define research strategy and prioritize intelligence initiatives.

- Conduct deep-dive competitive analysis including financial modeling, offering comparisons, and strategic positioning assessments.

- Build and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders including Product Management, Sales Leadership, and Partner teams.

- Lead special projects and ad-hoc research requests from executive leadership requiring rapid turnaround.

- Develop new research methodologies and frameworks to enhance Presidio's intelligence capabilities.

- Represent Presidio at industry events and analyst briefings to gather primary intelligence.

- Quality assure research outputs from junior team members ensuring accuracy and strategic relevance.

- Contribute to thought leadership through white papers, blog posts, and internal knowledge sharing.

Technology/Area Of Specialization:

- Advanced expertise in market research methodologies including statistical analysis, forecasting, and scenario planning.


- Deep knowledge of services market including cloud migration, security operations, and digital transformation trends.


- Specialization in one or more technology domains (e.g., cybersecurity, cloud platforms, networking, collaboration).

- Expert-level proficiency with research tools, competitive intelligence platforms, and data visualization software.

- Understanding of financial analysis including TCO models, ROI calculations, and business case development.

- Knowledge of partner program structures and ecosystem dynamics across major technology vendors.

Basic Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities:

- Advanced analytical skills with ability to handle complex, ambiguous research challenges.

- Superior written and verbal communication skills for C-level audience engagement.

- Proven track record of delivering high-impact research that influenced strategic decisions.

- Advanced proficiency in research tools, statistical software, and data visualization platforms.
