About the Opportunity:
We are hiring for a strategic pre-sales leadership role within the IT consulting and enterprise software solutions sector. The role sits at the intersection of sales, product, and engineering-driving solution design, demos, and commercial proposals for enterprise customers. This is an on-site position based in India and requires close collaboration with sales teams and technical stakeholders.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Lead and own the technical pre-sales cycle: discovery, solution design, demos, POCs, and proposal submission for enterprise deals.
- Translate customer requirements into scalable solution architectures and craft compelling technical narratives and ROI-focused proposals.
- Run high-impact product demonstrations and technical workshops for stakeholders across business and IT functions.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Delivery to ensure feasibility, pricing accuracy, and smooth handoff post-win.
- Respond to RFPs/RFIs and produce clear, compliant technical responses and commercial estimates.
- Mentor and upskill junior pre-sales engineers; establish repeatable pre-sales playbooks and demo best practices.
Skills & Qualifications:
Must-Have:
- Proven experience leading technical pre-sales or solutions consulting for enterprise IT services or SaaS (preferably B2B).
- Strong capability in solution architecture and designing end-to-end technical proposals.
- Demonstrable experience delivering Proof-of-Concepts and technical demonstrations to senior stakeholders.
- Track record of creating RFP/RFI responses and commercial proposal support.
- Practical expertise with Salesforce (CRM) and sales enablement tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Advanced presentation skills using Microsoft PowerPoint and commercial modeling using Microsoft Excel.
Preferred:
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and modern integration patterns.
- Experience working in consulting or managed services business models and pricing frameworks.
- Familiarity with product-led growth motions and solution packaging for SaaS offerings.
