Presales Consultant - Networking

Job Purpose:

The Presales Consultant - Networking is responsible for the Networking business and execution within the company. This includes gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and ensuring revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. You will work with the Product Manager - Networking to align on business objectives.

Certifications:

Need to ensure complete adherence to the required certification to maintain partnership and obtain rebates.

Reporting To:

Product Manager - Networking

Responsibilities:

- Design and develop solutions based on customer requirements.

- Prepare monthly product reports with SMs and ensure execution of all product related agreements, including after sales service commitments. Provide timely product sales reports periodically to provide feedback to the Product Manager.

- Achieve BU short and long term sales targets.

- Assist the PM in defining the product strategy and roadmap.

- Effectively represent the interests of the company to customers and create new business avenues within Cisco and HPE Networking.

- Keep abreast of competitor activities and conduct competitive analysis periodically.

- Understand important financial ratios and deliver a monthly revenue forecast. Regularly update teams on new product knowledge.

- Participate in various corporate activities like seminars and conferences.

- Architect level experience on solutions like ICE, Zero Trust, SDWAN, SDN, and Collaboration is mandatory.

Educational Qualifications:

Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum 10 - 12 years of experience in large system integration.

Certifications Required:

CCDA, CCNA, DDCE, ACDP, and Aruba equivalent.

VMware NSX certification is also mandatory.

Arista and Juniper certifications are an added advantage.

Tools:

Cisco and Aruba tools knowledge is mandatory.

Excellent communication and presentation skills are mandatory.
