Presales Consultant - IT

- Must act as a trusted advisor, translating business pain points into high-level infrastructure roadmaps and solutions.

- Must lead the technical journey from discovery and requirement gathering to solution design, presentation, order management and project implementation coordination.

- Must manage strategic relationships with world-leading technology providers, OEMs and Value Added Distributors in the market to maintaining advanced partnership levels and negotiating pricing to improve the bottom line.

- Must lead the technical response for formal bids (RFP/RFI/RFQ), ensuring positioning of correct solution components, full technical compliance, accurate sizing, and high-quality technical documentation.

- Must proactively manage the installed base by tracking support contract expiration and hardware end-of-life (EOL), ensuring seamless service renewals and identifying opportunities for infrastructure refreshes.

- Must have experience and expert knowledge of enterprise server solution and architectures, HCI, SDDC. Hybrid Cloud, etc.

- Must have in depth understanding on industry leading All-Flash and Hybrid storage arrays, SAN, NAS, Object Storage, including Fibre Channel (FC) fabrics and high-performance data networking.

- Must be an expert in designing data protection solution and disaster recovery strategies incorporating data immutability and ransomware resilience for end Customers.

- Must have good understanding of Enterprise Operating systems and Enterprise database solutions.

- Must have the ability to understand and design Infrastructure stacks for AI/ML workloads, including GPU-accelerated compute and high-bandwidth data pipelines.

- Must have thorough understanding on latest container orchestration (Kubernetes) and cloud-native infrastructure solution offerings.

- Must demostrate proven track record in formal public bid/tender management.

- Must possess strong skills in pricing negotiations with OEMs and margin optimization.

- Must have experience in using OEM sizing and quote configuration tools to come up with cost effective BoM.

- Must have experience in understanding detailed BoM from OEMs and should have the ability to review the BoM and identigy potential shortfalls or errors in the configurations.

- Must have a knack of identifying new solutions from various OEMs that can be positioned to the Customers to enable a competitive edge for Sybyl Limited in the market.
