About the Role
We are looking for a highly experienced Presales Consultant with deep domain expertise in Transaction Banking, Corporate Internet Banking, and Wholesale Banking. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in solution positioning, client engagement, and driving product demonstrations and Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) to help win strategic deals.
Key Responsibilities
Domain Expertise:
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Transaction Banking and Corporate Internet Banking
In-depth knowledge of banking products such as:
- Basic Banking Services
- Payments and Collections
- Trade Finance Services
- Financial Supply Chain Solutions
- Cash Management and Treasury Solutions
- Strong understanding of European banking regulations (SEPA, PSD2, ISO20022, etc.)
- Presales & Solutioning
- Own and lead client presentations, demos, and POCs to highlight product capabilities and business value
- Collaborate with sales and product teams to create compelling sales pitches and solution stories
- Interpret client requirements and tailor solutions accordingly
- Respond to RFIs/RFPs with high-quality documentation and strategic alignment
- Provide competitive intelligence and product enhancement feedback to the product team
Client Engagement:
- Engage with global customers (Europe, Southeast Asia, US)
- Understand customer pain points and propose relevant solutions
- Assist in value proposition creation and market segmentation strategies
Leadership & Collaboration:
- Inspire and guide presales and solutioning teams
- Work closely with delivery and technology teams for solution alignment
- Ensure highest technical scores during client evaluations
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Ownership of demo and POC delivery
- Alignment of solutions to client requirements
- High-quality, timely RFI/RFP submissions
- Market insights shared with product team
- Client satisfaction during presales engagement
- Contribution to sales closure and revenue growth
Required Skills
- Strong communication, presentation, and client-facing skills
- Excellent problem-solving and solutioning abilities
- Experience in digital transformation initiatives in banking
- Leadership and coordination capabilities
- Ability to work under tight deadlines with a focus on excellence
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience working with clients in Europe, Southeast Asia, or the US
- Familiarity with banking regulations and open banking standards
