Key responsibilities: 1) Handle all aspects of core account receivables/ account payables/General Accounting. 2) Work for month-end accruals & provisions by working with respective departments. Yearly Closing and reporting including handling Auditors queries and resolving them. 3) Preparation of Financial Statements for Auditors and ensure compliances as per Companies Act and Income tax Act. 4) Hands-on experience and sound knowledge of Ind AS/GST/Income Tax and to ensure GST/TDS related compliances. 5) Implement and ensure compliance with internal financial control and accounting policies and procedures. 6) Preparation of various MIS including Analysis for reporting to management. 7) Responsible for strengthening and automating the processes under responsibility area. 8) Payroll processing and statutory filling of EPF and ESIC returns. 9) Preparation of budgets and comparisons in close coordination with respective departments. 10) Cash flow management. 11) Knowledge and experience with legal agreements and client contracts. 12) Manage banking relationships. Desired background: 1) 5 years of relevant experience is desired in finance and accounting divisions of corporates. 2) Chartered Accountant 3) Team Manager - Should have managed team of 3-4 people. 4) Knowledge of Indian taxation laws and accounting terms and concepts. 5) Prior experience and proficiency in working with Zoho Books is mandatory. Desired Competencies: 1) Proficiency with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel & Outlook and communication software's. 2) Willing to work with cloud-based accounting software's. 3) High attention to detail and meticulousness. 4) Excellent in verbal and written communication. 5) Ability to learn quickly to be able to understand organizational processes and follow them. 6) Must be well organized and methodical in approach and be able to manage filing/database system. 7) Must understand the company policy documentation and how to apply them within day-to-day work and avoid leakages. 8) Must be a values-driven individual with high degree of integrity.
