Job Title: Manager/Senior Manager

Location: Gurgaon (Head Office)

Based out of: Head Office

Position Summary:

- Required candidate with around 5-8 years of working experience preferably in the modelling function of a life insurance company, having cleared at least 5 actuarial exams.

- The candidate is expected to maintain actuarial Prophet Model (Coding & Testing) for monthly/quarterly reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify the change/error/refinements and check it independently from File and Use or any other source to justify the reason for change.

- Make changes in coding of variables in library.

- Check through diagram view by running the model whether coding changes are implemented correctly.

- Understanding new product features and setup new products in Prophet Model.

- Testing of all cashflows (Best Estimate & Valuation) independently on excel.

- Regression testing on product level to ensure consistency with reported results.

- Impact analysis and justification of results with detailed reasons.

- Documentation of all changes made in coding along with results and impact analysis in release document.

- Follow the complete sign off process along with appropriate modelling standards for release of new version of Prophet.

- Handling queries related to Prophet Model raised by stakeholders.

- Work on any other project that may arise from time to time.

Job Specifications:

- A bachelors/Master's degree with minimum 5 actuarial exams.

- Out of total experience, at least 3 years of working experience preferably in the Actuarial modelling function of a life insurance company.

- Sound knowledge of advanced MS Excel, VBA and Prophet coding.

- Knowledge of Actuarial software like Prophet, DCS etc.

- Conceptual thinker with strong analytical, data management skills, work attitudes to details and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Good communication and business skills to contribute to business results.
