About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager Project (Stores) to oversee all store and material management operations for ongoing projects. The role involves ensuring efficient documentation, procurement, inventory control, and material reconciliation while maintaining accuracy, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities (KRA):
- Oversee store operations, including material receipt, storage, issue, and dispatch for project sites.
- Ensure accurate documentation of material inward and outward movements.
- Manage material reconciliation for all project-related consumables and assets.
- Supervise procurement activities, including local purchases and vendor coordination.
- Maintain up-to-date inventory records, ensuring accuracy and traceability.
- Conduct periodic stock audits and physical verification of inventory.
- Coordinate with project teams for timely material availability and logistics planning.
- Analyze material consumption data and prepare MIS reports for management review.
- Implement process improvements for better inventory control and cost optimization.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards in store operations.
- Manage and train store personnel to enhance operational efficiency.
- Liaise with finance and project departments for billing support and documentation validation.
Key Skillsets:
- Strong knowledge of store management and inventory control systems.
- Hands-on experience in material reconciliation and documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and data management tools.
- Excellent understanding of procurement processes and vendor management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple project stores with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with project-based industries such as construction, engineering, or infrastructure.
- Knowledge of safety and compliance practices in material handling.
