Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Practice Head - Recruitment & Business Development to lead and scale our recruitment practice from our Greater Noida West office. The role will have end-to-end ownership of the practice, including Recruitment Delivery, Business Development, Client Management, Team Leadership, Revenue Growth, and P&L Management. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of building recruitment businesses, acquiring and managing key clients, leading high-performing recruitment teams, and delivering sustainable revenue and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Practice Leadership & P&L Management:
- Take complete ownership of the recruitment practice, including revenue, profitability, costs, productivity, and P&L.
- Develop and execute the annual business plan, growth strategy, and revenue targets.
- Identify opportunities to expand the practice across existing and new sectors.
- Monitor business performance through key metrics such as revenue, gross margin, closures, productivity, client acquisition, and retention.
- Drive operational efficiency and ensure sustainable profitability.
- Present regular business reviews and performance updates to senior management.
2. Business Development:
- Lead the overall Business Development and Client Acquisition strategy.
- Identify, approach, and convert new clients across target industries.
- Build strong relationships with CXOs, CHROs, HR Heads, Business Heads, and senior decision-makers.
- Develop new accounts and expand existing client relationships.
- Lead client pitches, presentations, commercial negotiations, proposals, and contract discussions.
- Build a strong sales pipeline and ensure consistent conversion of opportunities into business.
- Develop strategic partnerships and long-term client relationships.
3. Recruitment & Delivery:
- Own end-to-end recruitment delivery across multiple functions and industries.
- Ensure timely and high-quality delivery against client requirements and agreed SLAs.
- Establish robust recruitment processes, sourcing strategies, and delivery mechanisms.
- Monitor team performance against TAT, closures, quality, productivity, and joining ratios.
- Personally drive critical, senior-level, and strategic mandates where required.
- Ensure strong candidate experience and maintain high standards of recruitment quality.
4. Client Management:
- Act as the senior point of contact for key strategic clients.
- Develop long-term relationships and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- Conduct regular client reviews and understand evolving manpower and business requirements.
- Handle escalations and ensure timely resolution of client concerns.
- Identify opportunities for account expansion and cross-selling of recruitment solutions.
5. Team Leadership:
- Build, lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing recruitment and business development team.
- Define team objectives, KPIs, revenue targets, and individual performance goals.
- Coach team members on business development, client management, sourcing, recruitment, negotiation, and closure.
- Build a performance-driven and collaborative work culture.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and develop team capabilities.
6. Strategy & Market Development:
- Identify emerging recruitment opportunities, sectors, and market trends.
- Develop go-to-market strategies for new sectors and service offerings.
- Track competitor activity, market conditions, hiring trends, and talent availability.
- Build a differentiated market proposition for the recruitment practice.

Mandatory Requirements:
- 15-20+ years of experience in the Recruitment Industry.
- Proven experience in a Practice Head, Business Head, Vertical Head, or Senior Leadership role.
- Strong track record in Business Development and Client Acquisition.
- Demonstrated experience managing Recruitment Delivery and Operations.
- Proven experience in P&L, revenue, or profitability management.
- Strong client-facing experience with senior stakeholders.
- Experience in building, managing, and scaling recruitment teams.
- Strong understanding of recruitment business models, pricing, margins, and commercial negotiations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Strong entrepreneurial and growth-oriented mindset.
- Must be comfortable working from office in Greater Noida West.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will be a senior recruitment leader who can independently drive the complete recruitment business lifecycle: Business Development, Client Acquisition, Account Management, Recruitment Delivery, Team Leadership, Revenue Growth, and P&L Management. The candidate should be equally strong in sales or business development and recruitment delivery, with the ability to build a profitable and scalable recruitment practice.
