Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Practice Leader Cloud Modernization to lead our cloud transformation initiatives across services and consumption-based business models.

This role demands a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise, strong delivery acumen, and full P&L ownership.

The ideal candidate will drive growth across cloud consulting, migration, modernization, and managed services, while also scaling our cloud license/consumption business with hyperscalers (Azure, AWS, GCP).

Key Responsibilities:

Practice Leadership & Strategy:

- Define and execute the cloud modernization strategy aligned with business goals.

- Build and scale a high-performing cloud practice across architecture, engineering, and delivery.

- Develop go-to-market offerings for cloud transformation, DevOps, containerization, and FinOps.

Delivery Excellence:

- Oversee end-to-end delivery of cloud engagements ensuring quality, timeliness, and customer satisfaction.

- Implement best practices in cloud architecture, agile delivery, and automation.

- Drive continuous improvement in delivery KPIs and customer experience.

P&L Management:

- Own the full P&L for the cloud practice, including revenue, margins, and cost optimization.

- Forecast and manage budgets, resource utilization, and profitability.

- Collaborate with sales and pre-sales to drive pipeline growth and deal closures.

Cloud Consumption & Licensing:

- Grow cloud consumption revenue in partnership with hyperscalers (Microsoft, AWS, Google).

- Lead cloud license sales strategy, renewals, and incentive programs.

- Build strong OEM relationships and leverage partner programs for growth.

Team Building & Leadership:

- Hire, mentor, and retain top cloud talent across architecture, engineering, and consulting.

- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.

- Lead cross-functional teams across geographies and business units.

Required Qualifications:

- 20+ years of experience in IT services with at least 8 years in cloud leadership roles.

- Proven track record in delivering large-scale cloud transformation programs.

- Strong understanding of cloud economics, licensing models, and partner ecosystems.

- Experience managing P&L of a multi-million-dollar business.

- Deep expertise in Azure, AWS, or GCP (certifications preferred).

- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Attributes:

- Experience working with global clients across BFSI.

- GCCs.

- Exposure to cloud-native development, Kubernetes, and serverless architectures.

- Familiarity with FinOps, Well-Architected Frameworks, and cloud security best practices.
