Practice/Delivery Head - Application Engineering

Description: Our client a leading IT services company is looking for Practice / Delivery lead in Application Engineering.

Role details:

- Provide technical and strategic leadership across various application development paradigms: Web, Mobile, Low-code/No-code, and Immersive technologies.

- Drive adoption of modern engineering practices and tools across the SDLC.

- Own revenue generation and growth strategy for the Application Engineering practice.

- Collaborate with sales, pre-sales, and delivery teams to identify and pursue new opportunities.

AI Integration in SDLC:

- Guide teams on leveraging AI tools and platforms to enhance productivity, quality, and automation in software development.

- Stay abreast of emerging AI trends and integrate relevant solutions into engineering workflows.

- Champion user-centric design through design thinking methodologies.

- Ensure high-quality user experience across all applications.

- Provide expert consultation on application architecture, design patterns, and technology stack selection.

- Support delivery teams and clients in making informed decisions on engineering approaches.

Desired Profile:

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

- 17+ years of experience in software/application engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.

- Proven expertise in Agile delivery, DevOps practices, and full-stack web & mobile development.

- Experience in delivery, consulting, architecture design, and stakeholder management.
