Strategic Leadership:
- Evaluate organizational performance against annual budgets and long-term business strategies. Develop tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational insights, and deliver actionable recommendations for strategy and execution.
Lead strategic planning, budgeting, and reporting processes, ensuring:
- Preparation of strategic plans, budgets, and forecasts.
- Financial viability of business transactions.
- Implementation of robust management information systems.
- Collaborate with audit and investment committees on emerging issues, trends, and operational model changes.
Treasury Management:
Fundraising:
- Drive institutional funding initiatives, collaborating with private equity stakeholders to enhance capital availability.
- Lead fundraising efforts to ensure adequate credit limits and cash flow visibility, supporting AUM growth.
Stakeholder Representation:
- Represent the company to institutional investors, PE firms, mutual funds, banks, FIIs, debenture trustees, registrars, brokers, intermediaries, and media to foster strong relationships and ensure credit readiness.
Rating Agency Collaboration:
- Build and maintain relationships with rating agencies to secure and sustain company ratings, ensuring alignment with strategic fundraising goals.
Financial Management and Control:
- Oversee all finance and accounting operations, ensuring efficient processes and high-quality outputs.
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, analysing and reporting variances effectively.
- Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
- Strengthen internal controls by developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies.
Skills And Knowledge:
- Exceptional analytical and decision-making abilities with a strong execution track record.
- High integrity, performance-driven, and target-oriented professional.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior leaders and the Board.
- Strong organizational agility and ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills in English.
- Energetic, self-motivated, and a team player with a strategic mind-set.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
Educational Qualification:
- CA, CPA, or MBA (Finance) with 10+ years of experience in financial services or finance roles.
Experience:
- Experience as a Director in a Big 4 firm would be preferred
