Role Purpose
The role is responsible for implementing portfolio optimization strategies for low & medium risk customers to ensure the overall portfolio delinquencies are within the benchmark. The role is also responsible to monitor authorizations rates and ensure these are within benchmarks.
Role Accountability
- Conduct analysis for offering limit enhancement to low and medium risk segments, which act as a NEA builder for the portfolio.
- Ensure effective Utilization of data from bureaus to offer limit enhancement to customers.
- Propose segments to optimize the x-sell coverage of the portfolio.
- Develop portfolio Performance dashboard on time on a monthly basis.
- Support implementation of all regulatory guidelines and network enhancements.
- Conduct end to end daily review of transaction declines, maximize authorization rate, and propose extended authorization strategy across portfolio segments.
- Work closely with the marketing team on campaigns to drive conversions from low & medium risk customers.

- Analyze alternate data available (alternate credit bureau, account aggregator, etc.) which can be leveraged in portfolio optimization.
- Work with networks on implementation of any new regulatory or network oriented changes.
- Monitor BIN level caps along with marketing team to ensure due process is followed.
Measures of Success
- Ensuring successful execution of portfolio strategies as per agreed plan
- Timely tracking of authorization success rate to ensure staying within defined benchmarks
- Timely creation and monitoring of portfolio metrics
Technical Skills / Experience / Certifications
- Knowledge of Data Analytic & Modelling
- Basic understanding of the cards business dynamics that will drive the analysis.
- Knowledge of data analytics and system tools such as SAS, TRIAD, V+, Python
- Knowledge of Card networks, Access Control System (ACS), payment processing, and regulatory environment
