Portfolio Manager - Equities - Discretionary - Bank - CA/CFA

What you will do

- Manage discretionary equity portfolios for UHNI/HNI clients on an end-to-end basis

- Work alongside the Head of Portfolio Management (Equities) and analysts on investment strategy formulation and model portfolio construction

- Execute day-to-day portfolio duties - deployment of client monies, portfolio monitoring, and timely rebalancing

- Contribute actively to the India Investment Committee and participate in investment idea generation

- Prepare and issue portfolio management communications - both internal and client-facing

- Collaborate with Relationship Managers, Team Heads and Business Heads for business development and demand generation

- Ensure strict compliance with portfolio management guidelines, SEBI regulations and internal governance frameworks

- Liaise with Operations, Risk Management and Compliance teams for smooth portfolio servicing

What we are looking for :

- 10-15 years of relevant experience in Indian equity markets

- Strong fundamental knowledge of Indian equities, sectors and individual companies

- Demonstrated experience in equity portfolio management (discretionary preferred) and/or deep equity research

- Ability to manage client portfolios independently with sound investment judgement

- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written - with ability to present investment rationale clearly to clients and internal stakeholders

- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; proficient in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint

- CFA charterholder or CA qualification preferred

- Prior experience in private banking, wealth management or institutional equity investing is a strong advantage
