Role Context :
This is a high-ownership, high-visibility role sitting at the centre of Porter's People & Culture function. The Program Manager will work directly with the Director - P&C to operationalize org-wide people initiatives - such as pulse surveys, performance initiatives, engagement programs, and leadership reporting. Think of this person as the engine behind P&C execution.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities :
1. Program Management :
- Own end-to-end planning, tracking, and closure of cross-functional people programs (engagement, L&D, HRBP, internal comms)
- Build and maintain program roadmaps, timelines, and governance frameworks
- Create MRM and MBR decks - collate data, synthesize insights, and prepare leadership-ready reports
- Track action items and decisions across review cycles; follow up with stakeholders proactively
2. Data, Metrics & Reporting :
- Track and analyze people metrics - attrition, performance, engagement scores - on a regular cadence
- Convert raw data into actionable insights and visualizations for P&C leadership
- Build dashboards and reporting templates that bring visibility to program health and risks
- Manage pulse survey execution - from design and distribution to collation and insight sharing
3. Coordination & Stakeholder Management :
- Serve as the central coordination point across HRBPs, COEs, and business leaders
- Unblock execution by flagging risks early and driving alignment across teams
- Manage internal communications around people programs - timelines, updates, rollout plans
4. Problem-Solving & Ad Hoc Priorities :
- Step in on unplanned priorities with speed and structure
- Build processes and templates where none exist - bring structure to ambiguity
Background & Education :
- MBA / PGDM (HR, Strategy, or General Management) - Tier 1 or Tier 2 institute preferred
- Undergrad in any discipline; engineering + MBA profiles welcome
- 2 - 3 years of experience in consulting, HR, strategy, or program management is a strong differentiator
