Senior Manager - Business Development (3-7 yrs)
Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Manager - Business Development (Life Insurance) to drive business growth through strategic partnerships, distribution initiatives, and innovative business solutions. The role demands strong industry knowledge, stakeholder management, and execution capabilities to strengthen Policybazaar's leadership position in the life insurance segment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end P&L responsibility for the Life Insurance vertical, ensuring revenue maximization and cost optimization.
- Drive revenue growth through strategic business development initiatives and partnerships in the Life Insurance segment.
- Monitor and analyze business performance metrics to identify growth opportunities and implement corrective actions.
- Optimize cost and improve overall profitability by driving efficiency in sales processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, operations, and technology) to deliver sustainable business outcomes.
- Develop and execute strategies to improve margins, enhance customer lifetime value (CLV), and reduce operational leakages.
- Prepare business forecasts, budgets, and financial plans, and track actual performance against targets.
- Identify new revenue streams, alliances, and distribution models to scale the Life Insurance business profitably.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Experience: 2+ years in Business Development / Sales / Partnerships, MBA from Tier-1 college is preferred.
- Proven track record of driving revenue and achieving business targets
- Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Analytical mindset with comfort in handling data-driven decision making
- MBA/PGDM preferred but not mandatory
