About the Role:

- We are seeking a highly accomplished and technically astute Head of SEO to own and drive our entire organic growth charter.

- The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and execution powerhouse, someone who understands the intersection of technology, content, and data deeply, and can translate SEO into measurable business impact.

- This role demands leadership, innovation, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-scale environment.

- The Head of SEO will be accountable for delivering sustained growth in sessions, leads, and rankings, while ensuring our brand dominates visibility across traditional search engines and emerging AI-powered discovery ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Ownership & Leadership:

- Define and lead the company's comprehensive SEO vision and strategy, aligned with core business and growth objectives.

- Translate SEO from a marketing function into a strategic business growth lever, driving measurable ROI.

- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of SEO specialists, analysts, and content partners.

- Partner with CXOs, Product, Tech, and Marketing leadership to align SEO initiatives with company-wide goals.

Technical SEO Mastery:

- Conduct deep-dive technical audits and implement high-impact optimizations around crawl efficiency, indexation, Core Web Vitals, and page performance.

- Drive large-scale technical initiatives, site migrations, speed optimization, structured data architecture, and mobile-first experiences.

- Collaborate closely with the Product and Engineering teams to ensure all new features, pages, and site structures are SEO-compliant by design.

Performance & Analytics:

- Own end-to-end SEO metrics, organic sessions, ranking share, CTR, conversion rate, and lead contribution.

- Build live dashboards and reporting frameworks using GA4, GSC, and advanced analytics tools.

- Use competitive benchmarking and data intelligence to identify untapped growth opportunities.

- Establish a data-driven performance culture with weekly, monthly, and quarterly tracking against defined targets.

AI & Future Search Ecosystems:

- Lead the brand's transition into AI-driven search visibility, ensuring presence across Google SGE, Bing Copilot, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and similar platforms.

- Develop frameworks for AI-optimized content, structured data enrichment, and generative discovery optimization.

- Stay ahead of evolving search paradigms from conversational and multimodal search to zero-click visibility and adapt strategy accordingly.

Content Strategy & Authority Building:

- Define a content and keyword strategy that strengthens topical authority and organic share of voice.

- Partner with Content and Brand teams to ensure every piece of content serves both user intent and business relevance.

- Drive initiatives to strengthen backlink quality, domain authority, and reputation across categories.

Innovation & Automation:

- Champion programmatic SEO, automation, and AI-driven insights to scale organic acquisition.

- Experiment with data-backed hypotheses and continuously evolve tactics based on algorithmic and behavioral shifts.

Candidate Profile:

- 13-15 years of progressive SEO experience with minimum of 7-8 years in Fintech or E-commerce leading high-traffic platforms.

- Proven success in scaling organic traffic to multi-million monthly sessions with a strong conversion impact.

- Deep technical expertise across site architecture, crawling, indexing, Core Web Vitals, and analytics frameworks.

- Hands-on experience with GA4, GSC, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Looker Studio, and advanced SEO analytics tools.

- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript rendering; experience working with complex CMS environments.

- Strong grasp of AI search ecosystems, structured data, and evolving generative discovery models.

- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders.

- Highly analytical, commercially minded, and outcome-driven.
