About the Role
Policybazaar.com is seeking a high-impact Product Engineering & Analytics Head to join its Life Insurance business. This is a strategic role with end-to-end ownership across business strategy, product execution, and analytics, working closely with senior leadership. The role offers high visibility and the opportunity to directly influence business growth, customer experience, and operational efficiency in one of Indias largest digital insurance platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Strategy & Growth:
- Partner with business leadership to define and execute long-term business strategy for the Life Insurance vertical.
- Identify growth levers across acquisition, conversion, retention, and revenue optimization.
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to scale business outcomes through data-backed initiatives.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to streamline and enhance the end-to-end customer journey.
- Drive execution of strategic initiatives by aligning product roadmaps with business priorities.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-impact features and improvements.
- Leverage data and analytics to identify performance gaps, growth opportunities, and operational inefficiencies.
- Define key metrics and dashboards to track business and product performance.
- Translate complex data insights into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Operations.
- Drive alignment across teams to ensure seamless execution of strategic programs.
- Act as a bridge between business and technical teams to ensure clarity and accountability.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 5 to 8 years of relevant work experience in product, analytics, business strategy, or consulting roles.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven experience driving alignment across cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth, entrepreneurial environments.
- Masters degree in Management or graduate degree from Tier-1 engineering institutions.
- Prior exposure to start-ups, consumer internet, fintech, or high-growth companies is a plus.
