Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented PMO Analyst / Project Management Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will support enterprise-wide project governance, portfolio management processes, and delivery excellence. This role ensures alignment of projects with strategic business priorities while enabling visibility, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement across the project landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Governance & Delivery Management:

- Implement and maintain PMO governance frameworks, templates, and processes.

- Oversee end-to-end project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.

- Support project prioritization, demand management, and portfolio optimization.

- Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change control processes across projects.

- Ensure accurate resource planning, capacity tracking, and workload balancing.

- Monitor budgets, forecasts, and cost control for project portfolios.

Performance Tracking & Reporting:

- Define KPIs and success metrics for programs and projects.

- Develop performance dashboards and provide executive-level reporting.

- Conduct portfolio health checks, maturity assessments, and identify improvement opportunities.

- Track benefits realization and ensure alignment with business outcomes.

- Drive data-driven insights and decision support for leadership.

Stakeholder & Leadership Support:

- Facilitate governance committees, steering meetings, and review forums.

- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including IT, business, and operations teams.

- Mentor project managers and support capability development within PMO teams.

- Manage escalations, conflicts, and ensure timely resolution.

Tools & Technology Enablement:

- Work with PMO tools: MS Project / Project for the Web, Jira, Confluence, Asana, Trello.

- Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and advanced Excel trackers.

- Utilize tools like Smartsheet / Clarity PPM / Planview / Monday.com for portfolio management.

- Maintain project documentation and collaboration portals via SharePoint.

Methodologies & Best Practices:

- Apply Agile/Scrum/SAFe frameworks as well as Waterfall and Hybrid models.

- Ensure compliance with PRINCE2, PMP, PMBOK, and ITIL guidelines where relevant.

- Promote lean delivery principles and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, Technology, or related field.

- Professional certifications like PMP, PRINCE2, PSM/CSM, or SAFe (preferred).

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning capabilities.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

- Proven experience working in a structured PMO environment.
