Job Description:

Position Summary:

- Were looking for a strategic yet hands-on Communications Director to shape how PlaySimple communicates inside the company and to the world.

- This role sits at the intersection of culture, storytelling, and brand building.

- Internally, youll strengthen our shared sense of purpose, connection, and values across all teams and studios.

- Externally, youll build and amplify the PlaySimple brand across India and global markets, driving visibility that supports our long-term growth, partnerships, and future M&A ambitions.

- Youll work closely with the CEO and leadership team to design and deliver communications that inspire, inform, and elevate PlaySimples reputation as one of the most admired gaming companies in the world.

- Were looking for someone proactive, creative and bold a communications leader who constantly thinks outside the box to ensure our story is heard, our voice is distinctive, and our presence is felt across every relevant platform, geography and conversation.

Key Responsibilities:

Internal Communications & Culture:

- Develop and lead a company-wide internal communications strategy that connects people to our mission, values, and strategic direction.

- Partner with leadership and HR to ensure key messages cascade clearly and consistently across studios and teams.

- Shape narratives for all internal channels CEO messages, town halls, newsletters, employee campaigns, and leadership updates.

- Strengthen cultural alignment and belonging through communication that reflects who we are and who we aspire to be.

- Coach leaders on communication tone, rhythm, and storytelling to help them engage their teams effectively.

External Communications & Brand:

- Build and execute PlaySimples PR and brand strategy across India and international markets.

- Manage media relations, press announcements, and thought-leadership opportunities for PlaySimple and the CEO.

- Partner with external agencies (PR, brand, creative) to ensure strong visibility across tech, gaming, and business media in India and relevant global markets.

- Proactively identify opportunities for PlaySimple to be recognized, featured, and celebrated across industry events, publications, and forums.

- Experiment with new storytelling formats, platforms, and campaigns to keep the brand fresh, relevant, and top of mind.

- Support future M&A and partnership efforts by raising PlaySimples profile and credibility in key markets.

- Collaborate with business and HR leaders to ensure consistent, high-impact external messaging and to strengthen PlaySimples reputation as a top employer.

What Were Looking For:

- 10+ years of experience in both internal communications and PR, or brand strategy ideally in tech, gaming, or consumer digital companies.

- Strong experience working across both Indian and international media landscapes.

- A proactive self-starter with a creative mindset and the ability to generate fresh, unconventional ideas that get noticed.

- Exceptional writing and storytelling ability, with sharp instincts for tone, timing, and audience.

- Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and work cross-functionally in dynamic, high-growth environments.

- A balance of creativity and business acumen connecting communication directly to company goals and measurable impact.

- Deep passion for shaping culture and bringing people together through authentic, inspiring communication.
