Plant Production Control & Logistics Manager - Automotive

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Plant Production Control & Logistics Manager to lead plant-level Production Control & Logistics activities in a large automotive manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead PPC, Material Planning, Stores, In-Plant Logistics and Dispatch activities.

- Drive production planning, master scheduling and material availability to ensure smooth plant operations.

- Lead and develop the PC&L team, including staffing, training and performance management.

- Monitor logistics performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

- Coordinate closely with Production, Quality, Suppliers and other plant functions.

- Support new program launches and ensure customer requirements are met.

- Improve plant logistics processes, supplier performance and overall supply chain efficiency.

Ideal Candidate:

- 15+ years of experience in Supply Chain / Production Control & Logistics within an industrial/manufacturing environment.

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering only.

- Strong experience in PPC + Material Planning + Plant Logistics.

- Exposure to Stores / In-house Logistics / Dispatch is preferred.

- Proven team management and people development experience.

- Candidates from Automotive / Auto Component / Tier-1 manufacturing backgrounds will be preferred.
