Plant Operations Manager - FMCG/Beverage/Packaging

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Operations Manager to lead plant operations and drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical leadership background in high-speed manufacturing industries such as beverage, packaging, or FMCG, with proven experience in managing end-to-end plant operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to deliver business performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily plant operations ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.

- Oversee Maintenance, Quality and other technical functions to ensure seamless operations.

- Collaborate with Sales, HR, EHS and Supply Chain to align plant goals with business objectives.

- Lead cross-functional teams to meet production targets and KPIs.

- Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Manage budgets, resources, and vendor relationships.

- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.

- Collaborate with global teams to align best practices.

Eligibility Criteria:

- A seasoned manufacturing professional with 15+ years of experience in beverage, packaging, or FMCG industries.

- Proven leadership in high-speed, high-volume production environments with experience in plant setup.

- Strong communicator with a passion for operational excellence.

- Strong knowledge of production planning, maintenance, and quality systems.

- Excellent communication and team-building skills.

- Engineering degree with MBA preferred.
