Description:
- Recruitment and onboarding: Manage the entire hiring process for plant employees, from recruitment and selection to onboarding.
- Employee and labor relations: Handle employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and grievances.
- This may also include collective bargaining and administering labor agreements in unionized environments.
- Compliance: Ensure the plant complies with all federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
- Compensation and benefits: Administer compensation structures, health benefits, and payroll for plant staff.
- Training and development: Design and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Health and safety: Coordinate health, safety, and wellness programs to ensure a secure working environment.
- Performance management: Oversee performance appraisal processes and provide guidance on performance improvement.
