
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategically partner with plant leadership to align HR initiatives with business objectives, ensuring talent strategies support production goals and operational excellence.
- Lead all aspects of Employee Relations, including grievance handling, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and fostering a positive and productive work culture for all employees.
- Manage Industrial Relations effectively, engaging with unions (if applicable), ensuring compliance with all labor laws and regulations, and maintaining industrial peace to support uninterrupted operations.
- Develop and implement robust HR policies and procedures, ensuring legal compliance and promoting fairness and transparency across the organization.
- Drive talent management initiatives, including performance management cycles, talent reviews, and succession planning, to build a high-performing workforce.
- Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes for plant-level roles, ensuring the timely acquisition of skilled talent to meet operational demands.
- Facilitate training and development programs to enhance employee capabilities, promote continuous learning, and support career growth within the plant.
- Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends, provide insights to management, and recommend data-driven solutions for improving HR effectiveness and employee engagement.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex Employee Relations and Industrial Relations scenarios within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Proven ability to operate as a strategic HR Business Partner, advising senior leadership on HR matters and contributing to overall business strategy.
- In-depth knowledge of Indian labor laws, statutory compliance, and best practices in HR management.
- Exceptional negotiation, mediation, and conflict resolution skills, coupled with strong interpersonal and communication abilities to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in HR analytics and the ability to leverage data for informed decision-making and process improvement.
- A postgraduate degree in Human Resources (MBA/PGDM) from a reputed institution.
- Adaptability to a dynamic, on-site plant environment, requiring a hands-on approach and strong presence on the shop floor.
