
Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Plant HR Manager (Incharge) to lead the human resources function at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Jaipur. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary custodian of the plants culture, ensuring seamless alignment between operational goals and people practices.
You will work closely with the Plant Head, corporate leadership, and shop-floor teams to foster a high-performance environment. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining harmonious industrial relations, ensuring absolute statutory compliance, and driving organizational excellence within the consumer durable manufacturing landscape.
By balancing the rigors of plant administration with a human-centric approach, you will directly influence productivity, employee retention, and the overall stability of our manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee comprehensive HR Compliance and Labour Law adherence to mitigate legal risks and ensure the facility operates within the framework of state and central regulations.
- Manage the full spectrum of HR Operations, including payroll, attendance, and benefits administration, to ensure seamless service delivery for the entire plant workforce.
- Drive Talent Acquisition strategies for both blue-collar and white-collar roles to ensure the facility is adequately staffed with high caliber talent.
- Implement robust Training and Development programs to upskill the workforce, thereby enhancing technical competency and safety awareness across all departments.
- Spearhead EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) initiatives in collaboration with the safety team to cultivate a zero-harm culture and maintain industry-leading safety standards.
- Resolve employee grievances through proactive communication and structured conflict resolution mechanisms to maintain high levels of employee engagement and morale.
- Direct administrative functions, including facility management, canteen, transport, and security services, to provide a conducive and efficient working environment.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex Industrial Relations and navigating Labour Law landscapes within the manufacturing sector, specifically within consumer durables.
- Proven ability to lead large-scale HR Operations and plant administration with a focus on process optimization and cost-efficiency.
- Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, from shop-floor workers to senior management.
- Strong analytical mindset to interpret HR metrics and translate them into actionable business strategies that support plant productivity.
Candidate Requirement:
- A post-graduate degree in Human Resources (MBA/MSW/PM&IR) from a reputed institute is highly preferred.
- Ability to thrive in an on-site, fast-paced manufacturing environment, demonstrating high levels of adaptability and hands-on leadership.
- 15 - 18 years of progressive experience in Plant HR, with a track record of managing large, diverse workforces in a unionized environment.
