Position: Plant HR Lead Location - Kolkata, Garden Reach Area Key Responsibilities: Industrial Relations (70%) - Union Management: Serve as the primary liaison between management and union representatives, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. - Long-Term Settlements (LTS): Lead negotiations and manage the implementation of LTS agreements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with legal standards. - Dispute Resolution: Address and resolve industrial disputes, grievances, and disciplinary issues promptly and effectively. - Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to all labor laws, factory regulations, and statutory requirements, including liaison with government authorities. - Employee Relations: Promote a positive work environment through proactive engagement and conflict resolution strategies. Human Resources (30%) - Talent Acquisition: Oversee recruitment processes to ensure the hiring of qualified personnel in compliance with organizational needs and legal requirements. - Training & Development: Identify training needs and implement programs to enhance employee skills and performance. - Compensation & Benefits: Administer salary structures, benefits, and other HR policies in alignment with company standards. - Performance Management: Implement performance appraisal systems and foster a culture of continuous improvement. - HR Operations: Manage day-to-day HR operations, including attendance, leave management, and employee records. Qualifications & Experience : Education: Master's degree in Human Resource Management, Labour Laws, or a related field. Experience: 15-20 years in HR & IR, with at least 10 years in a leadership role within a manufacturing or industrial setting. Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills; in-depth knowledge of labor laws and industrial relations practices; ability to manage complex HR and IR issues effectively.
