
Role : Plant HR Head
Role Overview :
- As the Plant HR Head, you will be the driving force behind fostering a positive and productive work environment at our Bangalore manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of human resources, from talent acquisition and employee relations to performance management and compliance.
- You will collaborate closely with the plant leadership team, functional HR partners, and employees at all levels to ensure alignment with business objectives and a thriving organizational culture. Your work will directly impact employee engagement, retention, and overall plant performance, contributing significantly to the company's success.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy of the plant.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and offboarding, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for all employees.
- Oversee employee relations, addressing employee grievances, resolving conflicts, and promoting a fair and equitable work environment to maintain a harmonious workplace.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations, minimizing legal risks and maintaining ethical HR practices.
- Lead and manage the HR team at the plant, providing coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities to build a high-performing and engaged team.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives, such as surveys, focus groups, and recognition programs, to foster a positive and inclusive work culture.
- Partner with plant leadership to identify and address workforce planning needs, ensuring the plant has the right talent in the right roles to meet its operational goals.
- Manage the plant's compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with company standards to attract and retain top talent.
- Lead negotiations with labor unions (if applicable), fostering positive relationships and ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreements.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that are aligned with best practices and legal requirements, ensuring consistent and fair application across the plant.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated expertise in Industrial Relations, including negotiation, conflict resolution, and grievance handling.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Labour Laws and HR Compliance, ensuring adherence to legal requirements and minimizing risk.
- Proven ability to manage Employee Relations, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address HR challenges effectively.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 8 -18 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on plant HR management.
