
Role Overview:
Lead and manage the complete Human Resources function at the plant by driving talent acquisition, HR operations, industrial relations, statutory compliance, employee engagement, learning & development, performance management, and workforce planning to support business objectives and operational excellence.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the plant HR strategy aligned with business goals.
- Lead manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, and workforce budgeting.
- Oversee HR operations, payroll inputs, attendance, HRIS, and employee records.
- Drive employee engagement, retention, performance management, and succession planning.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, factory regulations, statutory requirements, and HR policies.
- Manage industrial relations, contract labour, disciplinary matters, and government liaison.
- Identify training needs, implement learning & development initiatives, and monitor competency development.
- Partner with Plant Head and functional leaders on workforce planning and organizational development.
- Monitor HR metrics, prepare MIS reports, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the plant HR team.
Educational Qualification:
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources, Personnel Management, or MSW (HR).
- Additional certification in Labour Laws or Industrial Relations will be an advantage.
Experience:
- 15-20 years of experience in Plant HR within Manufacturing, Automotive, Chemicals, Fertilizers, Cement, Engineering, or Process Industries.
- Minimum 5 years in a Plant HR leadership role with exposure to Industrial Relations and Statutory Compliance.
