Job Purpose

To lead and manage end-to-end sheet metal manufacturing operations ensuring productivity, quality, cost efficiency, safety, and timely delivery in compliance with automotive industry standards. The role involves strategic leadership, operational excellence, and cross-functional coordination to support automotive and HVAC customers.

Key Responsibilities :

- Operations & Production Management : Oversee complete sheet metal operations including press shop, welding, fabrication, and sub-assemblies. Achieve production targets as per OEM schedules.

- Quality Management : Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 / ISO standards. Reduce rejection, rework, and customer complaints.

- Cost & Budget Control : Prepare and control plant budgets. Drive cost reduction through VA/VE, scrap reduction, localization.

- Maintenance & Engineering : Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance of presses, robots, dies, fixtures.

- Safety & Compliance : Ensure adherence to EHS standards. Implement safety audits, risk assessments, and legal compliance.

- Team Leadership : Lead plant managers, engineers, supervisors, and operators. Drive training, skill development, and performance management.

- Continuous Improvement : Implement Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma.
