Job Description:

- Plant Operations Ownership: Take overall ownership of plant operations, ensuring achievement of production, productivity, quality, safety, cost, and delivery targets.

- Operational Efficiency: Drive efficient and profitable plant operations through optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, materials, and other resources.

- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute plant-level operational plans aligned with organizational objectives, production requirements, and business priorities.

- Functional Leadership: Lead and oversee manufacturing functions including Production, Maintenance, Quality, Planning, Stores, Engineering, Tooling, and related support functions.

- Performance Monitoring: Monitor key plant performance metrics such as OEE, productivity, rejection/rework, downtime, capacity utilization, on-time delivery, and manufacturing costs, and drive corrective actions.

- Compliance and Delivery: Ensure adherence to production plans, customer delivery commitments, quality standards, and defined operational KPIs.

- Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives for cost reduction, waste elimination, process improvement, lean manufacturing, automation, and continuous improvement across the plant.

- Maintenance Management: Ensure effective maintenance practices, machine availability, preventive maintenance, and optimum utilization of plant infrastructure and equipment.

- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements, fostering a strong safety and quality culture across the plant.

- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales, Finance, and other functions to ensure smooth production planning, material availability, inventory optimization, and timely customer deliveries.

- Capacity and Technology: Lead capacity enhancement, process improvement, plant expansion, and implementation of new manufacturing technologies as required.

- Team Development: Develop and mentor plant leadership and functional teams, build a high-performance culture, and ensure effective manpower planning and succession readiness.

- Management Reporting: Review plant performance regularly with senior management, highlight operational challenges and risks, and implement timely corrective and preventive actions.

- Organizational Culture: Drive a culture of accountability, operational discipline, problem-solving, and continuous improvement across all levels of the plant.
