Plant Head - Pharma Catalyst Manufacturing

Are you a proven catalyst and process manufacturing leader ready to transform precious metal catalyst operations from R&D vision to robust plant execution?

Our client in Hyderabad is seeking a Plant Head to deliver technical innovation, operational leadership, and full P&L accountability in world-class catalyst manufacturing and metal recovery for pharmaceutical production.

What Youll Own

In your first 12-18 months, your success will include:

- Overseeing the end-to-end preparation, scaling-up, and optimisation of precious metal catalysts (Pt, Pd, Ag, Ru, Rh), ensuring outstanding productivity and performance for pharmaceutical reactions.

- Scaling catalyst and metal recovery processes from the lab to plantminimizing metal loss, maximizing yield, and driving best-in-class operations.

- Delivering profit improvements through smart process innovation and cost leadership.

- Leading cross-functional teams through efficient technology transfer, process improvement,

and infrastructure development.

- Creating regulatory-ready documentation, SOPs, and ensuring compliance to GMP/EHS/global standards.

Youre a Strong Match If

- Youve scaled precious metal catalyst production in pharma or process chemistry.

- Managed metal recovery and recycling with full P&L responsibility.

- Led multidisciplinary teams and driven complex tech transfer.

- Proficient in ICP-MS, HPLC, GC, BETdata-driven and solutions-oriented.

- Well-versed in regulatory audits, documentation, and operational KPIs.

Your Credentials

- Masters/PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.

- 10+ years of catalyst manufacturing experience with at least 5 years in plant/operational leadership.

- Strong grasp of catalyst chemistry, manufacturing economics, GMP/EHS, and pharma regulations.
