Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Plant Head to lead and oversee the overall manufacturing operations at our Pune facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring efficient production planning and execution, maintaining quality standards, optimizing costs, and leading plant teams to achieve business objectives. This role requires a strong leader with a proven track record in manufacturing operations, process improvement, and people management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plant Operations & Production Management:

- Lead and manage end-to-end plant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient manufacturing processes.

- Develop and execute production plans to meet customer requirements, delivery timelines, and business targets.

- Monitor daily production activities and ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and resources.

- Drive operational efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.

2. Quality & Compliance:

- Ensure adherence to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

- Implement and monitor quality control systems to maintain product consistency and customer satisfaction.

- Ensure compliance with workplace safety, environmental, and statutory regulations.

3. Planning & Budget Management:

- Prepare and manage plant budgets, operational costs, and resource allocation.

- Monitor production costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising quality.

- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to achieve operational goals.

4. Team Leadership & Development:

- Lead, mentor, and develop production, maintenance, quality, and support teams.

- Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.

- Conduct performance reviews and identify training and development needs.

5. Process Improvement & Operational Excellence:

- Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.

- Drive initiatives related to lean manufacturing, waste reduction, and process standardization.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, supply chain, engineering, and sales to ensure seamless operations.

6. Customer & Delivery Management:

- Ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders while maintaining quality and cost objectives.

- Coordinate with stakeholders to address production challenges and improve service levels.

- Support business growth by scaling operations and improving manufacturing capabilities.

- Proven experience in plant operations, production management, and manufacturing leadership roles.

- Strong expertise in production planning, budgeting, inventory management, and resource optimization.
