
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with the Plant Head and functional leaders to support ongoing HR and Industrial Relations requirements.
- Act as the on-site HR leader, translating production and business plans into effective manpower and shift strategies.
- Own end-to-end talent acquisition for the plant across shop-floor, technical, supervisory, and leadership roles, ensuring timely and compliant hiring.
- Lead Industrial Relations end to end, including union engagement, wage negotiations, grievance handling, disciplinary actions, and liaison with labour authorities.
- Drive strong employee relations and shop-floor engagement to ensure productivity, discipline, and continuity of operations.
- Ensure adherence to labour laws, statutory compliance, and standing orders, in close coordination with EHS and legal teams.
- Support productivity improvement, workforce optimisation, and capability-building initiatives at the site.
As a Successful Candidate:
- You bring hands-on IR experience, including union negotiations and dispute management.
- You have managed large manufacturing plants or multi-shift sites with a sizable permanent and contract workforce.
- You are comfortable operating in a high-intensity, unionised plant environment, balancing operational execution with leadership partnership.
