- The position is envisaged to drive HR organizational transformation, developing human capital capabilities and creating a great place to work, all through best-in-class people practices and to lead and manage all Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Employee Relations, and Statutory Compliance functions at the manufacturing plants with manpower strength 5000+.
- The role-holder is also responsible for execution of HR strategies and plans and champion the implementation of processes related to Manpower and Staffing, Learning & Development, Talent Management, Performance Management, Employee Engagement and drive operational efficiencies related to productivity and support business objectives
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end industrial relations and union negotiations to ensure uninterrupted plant operations and maintain a harmonious work environment.
- Oversee comprehensive HR compliance and adherence to state and central labor laws to mitigate legal risks and ensure ethical workplace standards.
- Manage large-scale HR operations, including payroll, statutory compliance, and workforce administration, to ensure operational efficiency.
- Act as the primary liaison between management and external regulatory bodies to ensure all plant activities meet statutory requirements.
Required Skillset:
- Proven expertise in managing complex industrial relations, including long-term settlements and collective bargaining in a large-scale manufacturing setup.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate high-pressure negotiations and build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset capable of translating business goals into actionable HR policies and performance metrics.
- A Master's degree in Human Resources or Industrial Relations from a premier institute is preferred, complemented by 24 to 30 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing environment.
